Big Battle Tanks Walkthrough

Big Battle Tanks is a tank game reminiscent of the Worms series of artillery games or the popular online game, GunBound. Big Battle Tanks features sprite graphics, destroyable terrain, a challenging campaign, and hot-seat multiplayer allowing up to five payers to battle each other on the same computer!

The objective of Big Battle Tanks is to destroy all of the opposing tanks on the battle field. If you are familiar with artillery games such as Worms or GunBound, then this concept will come easy to you. Combat is turn-based with each tank taking turns to move and fire. After a tank takes its shot, the next tank is given its turn and so on until only one tank remains. The campaign pits you against AI-controlled opponents that increase in difficulty as you progress. If you choose to play in the Deathmatch Mode of this war game, you can play with up to five players, human-controlled or CPU-controlled.

Big Battle Tanks uses mouse and keyboard controls. When using the mouse, click or drag the proper items on the interface to control your tank. Keyboard controls are more complicated but offer greater precision. The left and right arrow keys move you tank, the up and down arrow keys set the cannon's elevation, the page up and page down keys set the cannon's power, the spacebar fires, and the Q and E keys are used to cycle through available weapons. Since this war game is turn-based and does not require simultaneous action from players, the same controls are used for all players in Deathmatch Mode.

If you are familiar with similar artillery games, then mastering Big battle Tanks will be a cinch. For those that are inexperienced in the genre, I will provide a few tips. First, you must remember that your turn ends after you shoot, so if you want to move, move before shooting. It is important to move since it forces your opponents to recalculate their cannon's angle and power settings; it also forces you to do the same, however. Once you come close to hitting your enemy, make minor calibrations until you start scoring direct hits. Finally, be sure to experiment with different weapons to defeat your enemies. Different weapons have different properties and uses, so practice until you have mastered them all!

Big Battle Tanks is a simple, yet addictive war game. If you need an artillery game fix but don't want to find your old copy of Worms, then give Big Battle Tanks a play!
