Bug War 2 Walkthrough

Bug War 2 is the second game in the Bug War series of war games. Bug War 2 features superior graphics and gameplay compared to those of its predecessor, twelve achievements, and three races the choose from.

The objective of Bug War 2 is to vanquish your enemies while preventing your own forces from being defeated. There are three campaigns in this war game, one for each race. Only the Agile campaign is available at first, but once you have completed it the Fast and Strong campaigns will be unlocked. Your progress is autosaved in this war game after each battle. You can also manually save your game in one of three slots by clicking the save game button (the one labeled with a flag) on the campaign map screen.

Combat in Bug War 2 takes place in real-time. Select spawners by clicking on them. Drag to other spawners or towers to send units from the selected spawner to the intended target. You can send forces from multiple spawners by clicking and dragging over all of the spawners that you wish to send forces from and releasing the mouse button over the final target. Killing enemies raises the magic bar in the lower-right corner of the screen. Once this bar is full, you may activate a magical attack by clicking this bar (or pressing the A key) then clicking on the target. It is a good idea to use magical attacks to soften up the enemy before attempting to conquer their spawners in this war game.

Unlike the first Bug War, you cannot build towers in Bug War 2. Instead, towers are already placed in this war game. Towers do not spawn units, but use ranged attacks to kill enemies from afar. For this reason it is a good idea to capture and reinforce towers as soon as you can to deny them from your enemies and give you an advantage in battle. From this foothold, you can push on and crush your adversaries!

Bug War 2 is a vast improvement over the first Bug War and a great war game in its own right. If you enjoy rel-time strategy games with simple controls and cute graphics, then you will love Bug War 2!
