Crimson Warfare Walkthrough
Crimson Warfare is a real-time strategy game featuring an easy-to-use interface, a variety of troop types, and straightforward gameplay. Although this war game's graphics are dated, its gameplay has passed the test of time.
Crimson Warfare features both a campaign and a custom game mode. The campaign contains a storyline and limited technology that progresses as the player moves along, while custom games allow players to fine-tune their armies and battle in a one-on-one skirmish against the computer. In both modes of this war game, your objective is to send troops to destroy the enemy base while at the same time preventing your opponent's forces from destroying your base. Your progress can be saved after missions in the campaign game, and you can also save your customized teams for future use in custom games.
Unlike standard real-time strategy games like Command and Conquer or StarCraft, you do not directly control the actions of your units. Troops will automatically advance towards the enemy base and attack enemies that get within range. Instead, your role in this war game is to make sure that you base stays within repair and to deploy troops and conduct research. The mouse is used to interact with the game's interface and conduct these actions. You may also use the WASD hotkeys to select secondary structures and the spacebar to select your base.
Money management is extremely important in Crimson Warfare. There are no resources to collect in this war game, so the only money that you will receive is the small amount that steadily streams in. Building business centers and researching more efficient money-making techniques can help. On early levels it may be best to avoid building business centers, however, so that you can afford more war industries and overwhelm your opponent with large numbers of units.
Crimson Warfare is a war game that will put your tactical prowess to the test. Paint the battlefields red with the blood of your adversaries in Crimson Warfare!
